Working principle

 The cylinder is the main body of the filter. The cylinder of the large-scale filter is welded with steel plates. The small size is made of cast cylinder. Some old-fashioned cylinders of the filter are made of thick wooden boards. The outer surface of the cylinder body is divided into a certain number of axial through filter chambers along the circumference direction. The chambers are tightly sealed and not ventilated to each other. A filter plate is laid in the filter chamber, on the one hand, to form a channel for the flow of filtrate; on the other hand, it plays the role of supporting the filter cloth. The outer surface of the whole cylinder is wrapped with filter cloth. In order to ensure the sealing between the rooms, the filter cloth is embedded in the groove of the partition with adhesive tape, hemp rope or brown rope. Then, many steel wires are wound with a winding mechanism along the axis of the outer surface of the cylinder at a distance of 50-80 mm, and the filter cloth is fixed on the cylinder.
